Covid-19 Update

Further to the guidance released by the Government on 22 February 2021, we are pleased to announce that we are resuming our group paddleboard sessions from 29th March 2021, subject to new Covid-19 safe practices and social distancing measures.

New guidance as of 22nd Febuary 2021.

This confirms that from Monday 29th March, coaching, leadership and instruction within outdoor sports can now increase their ratio from 1:1 to 1:5 following the 2 metre social distancing guidelines.

You can meet with different groups in a single day as long as it is in gatherings of no more than 5 clients and you are maintaining social distancing.

This guidance will allow parents/guardians to accompany their children to coaching sessions carried out on a one to one basis or in a small group.

You should also enforce strong hygiene measures. This might be cleaning any equipment rigorously in line with wider guidance, for example by using antibacterial spray and washing hands thoroughly before and after each session.

We shall also be following the guidance for sup coaches seen below.

  • Keep your Distance - Adhere to a 2 metre social distance throughout all operations and interactions.

  • Lesson Type - Private and group sessions with a maximum of 5 clients only.

  • Kit Usage - Don't share PPE or equipment

  • Paddles -  No paddle exchange during sessions (except in emergencies).

  • Kit Protocol - Have a compliant wash down policy.

  • Sanitisation - Have a hand wash station and protocol for all.

  • Extra Procedures - Have a Covid - 19 Risk assessment.
